EPT Barcelona Shakes Up PokerStars Live League as Roiter Takes Control

The 2026 PokerStars Live League has a new leader following EPT Barcelona, with Klemens Roiter producing a huge festival to take control of the High leaderboard.

Roiter and Enrico Camosci have both leapfrogged former leader Juan Pardo, while the Medium leaderboard was also given a major shake-up by two of the biggest winners in Barcelona.

Andrew Hulme managed to hold onto top spot in the Medium tier despite Jason Wheeler and Manuel Ferrari climbing into second and third respectively. Hulme is also second in the Low standings, where Danilo Donnini remains the player to catch.

With €157,500 in PokerStars LIVE credit available to the top three finishers across the three leaderboards, there is plenty still to play for as the 2026 season heads towards its closing stages.

Roiter Runs Away With High Leaderboard Lead

Roiter entered EPT Barcelona sitting second in the High standings, but left Spain with a commanding advantage after putting together one of the best performances of the festival.

The Austrian won both a €25,000 event and a €10,000 event, while also adding a runner-up finish to his Barcelona haul. Those results have taken him to 6,774.01 points, more than 1,600 clear of Camosci in second.

Camosci also enjoyed a productive EPT Barcelona. His results included a 128th-place finish in the EPT Main Event and third place in the €30,000 Super High Roller, helping him climb into second with 5,092.72 points.

Their gains pushed Pardo from first to third. The Spaniard has skipped much of the live summer grind, including the WSOP, with his most recent live tournament results coming at EPT Monte Carlo in May. Despite his absence, his 5,056.76 points leave him only narrowly behind Camosci.

Aleksejs Ponakovs was another player to skip Barcelona and slipped one position to fourth. Kayhan Mokri, meanwhile, took advantage.

Mokri recorded three cashes at EPT Barcelona, highlighted by a runner-up finish in the €100,000 Super High Roller, to climb into the top five. At 4,495.70 points, the Norwegian remains within striking distance of the three places that will pay out PokerStars LIVE credit at the end of the season.

Wheeler and Ferrari Close In on Hulme

There was even more movement near the top of the Medium leaderboard, where Barcelona's biggest tournaments had a major impact on the standings.

Hulme remains the man to beat after adding 1,106 points during EPT Barcelona, taking his season total to 3,896.24.

That proved just enough to keep him ahead of Wheeler, who enjoyed the biggest score of his career after conquering the enormous 4,333-entry PokerStars Open Main Event.

Wheeler collected €731,000 ($846,025) for the victory and, unsurprisingly, picked up a huge number of Live League points in the process. He now sits just 22.11 points behind Hulme.

Ferrari is another new arrival near the top following his victory in the EPT Barcelona Main Event. The Italian took home €1,002,488 ($1,170,857) and climbed to third in the Medium standings with 3,612.07 points.

That pushed Conor O'Driscoll down to fourth despite three of his Barcelona cashes counting towards the Medium tier.

Further down the standings, Donnini was one of the biggest fallers following Barcelona. He entered the festival in third place but has now dropped to 19th.

Donnini Holds Firm in Low League

While Barcelona transformed the top of the High and Medium standings, there was much less movement in the Low leaderboard.

The top three remain unchanged, with Donnini holding onto first place on 1,705.71 points. Hulme's strong season across multiple buy-in levels has him second with 1,532.41 points, meaning he currently occupies a prize-paying position in both the Medium and Low tiers.

O'Driscoll is doing the same. The Irishman sits third on 1,442.23 points and, like Hulme, remains firmly in contention across two separate leaderboards.

Luca Bernardi and Jamie Flynn complete the top five, with Bernardi the only player among the leading five to change position following EPT Barcelona.

What's at Stake in the PokerStars Live League?

A total of €157,500 in PokerStars LIVE credit will be awarded to the top three players across the High, Medium and Low leaderboards.

The High tier covers tournaments with buy-ins of €/$/£4,900 or higher, with the eventual champion earning €50,000 in LIVE credit. Second place receives €25,000 and third €12,500.

Medium covers tournaments from €/$/£1,000 to €/$/£5,500, with €25,000, €12,500 and €6,250 going to the top three. Low covers events costing €/$/£1,200 or less, awarding €15,000 to first, €7,500 to second and €3,750 to third.

There is also more than just the top three to aim for in 2026. The top 30 players in each tier will qualify for a special live freeroll carrying a €100,000 prize pool at the first EPT stop of 2027.
