The Unibet Open is swapping Paris for Marrakech, with the popular live tour heading to Morocco from September 24 to October 4 for 11 days of poker at the Casino de Marrakech.
It follows the tour's successful return in Paris earlier this year, where the Unibet Open produced its largest field to date. Now, the same festival format heads south to Marrakech, combining the Unibet DeepStack Open (UDSO) and Unibet Open on one schedule.
More than 30 tournaments are planned across the festival, with buy-ins ranging from satellites through to the MAD 25,000 Super High Roller.
Sitting at the heart of the schedule is the MAD 12,000 Unibet Open Main Event, while the MAD 6,000 UDSO gets proceedings underway during the opening weekend.
Two Events Headline Unibet Open Marrakech
Players don't have to wait until the second week for one of the festival's biggest tournaments.
The MAD 6,000 UDSO kicks things off on Thursday, September 24, with four starting flights running through Saturday. The first three offer a 50,000 starting stack, with Day 1A beginning at 3 p.m. on Thursday before Day 1B follows at the same time on Friday.
Two more chances arrive on Saturday, including the Day 1D Turbo at 9 p.m. Survivors return for Day 2 on Sunday before the tournament reaches its conclusion on Monday, September 28.
Attention then turns towards the Unibet Open Main Event, which carries a MAD 12,000 buy-in, equivalent to the tour's traditional €1,100 price point. Players receive 50,000 chips, with one-hour levels forming the backbone of the Unibet Open structure.
There are four starting flights from September 30 to October 1, including evening Speed and Turbo options. Day 2 follows on Friday, October 2, Day 3 takes place on Saturday and the remaining contenders return for the final day at 4 p.m. on Sunday.

At current exchange rates, MAD 1 is worth around €0.092 or $0.11, meaning the MAD 12,000 Main Event buy-in works out at roughly €1,100 or $1,320.
The two Main Events may take top billing, but there is plenty filling the gaps during the 11-day festival.
The MAD 16,000 UO High Roller starts on September 29, while those wanting to play even bigger can wait for the MAD 25,000 UO Super High Roller on the final Sunday.
A MAD 6,000 MonsterStack also features on the closing weekend, while Progressive Knockouts, a Classic Bounty, Hit & Cash tournaments, Omaha and Turbo events provide some variety.
There's also the MAD 3,000 UO Mini Main, which offers three starting flights from September 27-28 before playing down further on September 29.
Win a €2,000 Unibet Open Marrakech Package
Players don't necessarily need to stump up the full Main Event buy-in to get themselves to Morocco.
Online satellites are running on Unibet, with qualification routes available across a range of buy-ins. Unibet says its Main Event satellites start from as little as €5, while package satellites run on Mondays and Thursdays.
The biggest prize is a €2,000 Unibet Open Marrakech package, which includes the Main Event buy-in, hotel accommodation and hospitality, along with a cash contribution towards travel expenses.
