The World Series of Poker Circuit has spent much of 2026 breaking new ground, both at home and abroad, and players have been responding in huge numbers.
September alone produced two major milestones. At Texas Card House in Austin, the $1,700 WSOP Circuit Main Event drew 2,090 entries, setting a new record for the largest WSOP Circuit Main Event field in the tour's history. Eric Chang eventually came through the record field to win his ring and $433,670.
That came shortly after the inaugural WSOP Super Circuit Canada at Playground, where the CA$5,000 Main Event attracted 2,844 entries and created a CA$13,082,400 prize pool. It became the biggest live poker tournament ever held in Canada, with Mayukh Chakraborty taking home CA$1.5 million after coming out on top.
Now, for the first time, the WSOP Circuit is heading to Spain, with Casino Gran Vía in Madrid hosting an 11-day festival from October 23 through November 2. Eleven WSOP Circuit rings will be awarded during the series, with buy-ins ranging from €300 to €2,500.
WSOP Circuit Makes Its Spanish Debut in Madrid
The first WSOP Circuit stop in Spain begins on Friday, October 23, with the €300 Mini Main Event getting proceedings underway.
Four starting flights are spread across the opening two days before the survivors return for the final day October 25. That same weekend sees two more rings enter the mix, with the €550 Seniors event for players aged 50 and over and the €550 Mystery Bounty both beginning on the same day.
One of the longest events on the schedule is the €300 Colossus. Six starting flights run from October 25 through November 1, giving players plenty of opportunities to find a bag before the final day on November 2.
The stakes then climb with the €2,500 High Roller on October 27, before attention turns to the biggest tournament of the festival.
Ring #7 is reserved for the €1,500 WSOP Circuit Main Event, which comes with four starting flights beginning on October 28.
Days 1A, 1B and 1C feature 40-minute levels, while the final opening flight on October 30 switches to a faster 20-minute structure. Those who make it through will combine for Day 2 the day after, with the first WSOP Circuit Main Event champion crowned in Spain the following day.
The Main Event isn't the end of the ring action either.
A €1,000 Deepstack and €550 Omaha event both get underway on October 31, while the closing stretch also features the €400 Superstack and €350 Bigstack. The latter brings the ring schedule to a close on November 2.
