There are not many opportunities to turn a few cents into a luxury poker getaway, but the 2025 Mediterranean Poker Party (MPP) is offering exactly that. Running from May 4 to 13 in Northern Cyprus, the MPP is back with a full schedule of major events and new ways for players to qualify.
Thanks to two new mega satellites on GGPoker, players can win a $7,000 package for as little as $0.50, with 20 packages guaranteed on each of the two Sundays: April 27 and May 4.
Each package includes a $5,300 buy-in to the MPP Main Event, five nights' accommodation at the Merit Royal Diamond and Spa, and airport transfers.
Qualifying Pathways
The satellite pathway is designed to be accessible to players at every bankroll level. The qualification steps are straightforward:
Stage 1: $0.50
Stage 2: $5.50
Stage 3: $55
Stage 4: $530
Players can enter at any stage, but even starting from Stage 1, a $7,000 prize package could be just a few flips away. The mega satellites take place on Sunday, April 27 and Sunday, May 3, both starting at 7 p.m. BST.
With more than 300 qualifiers expected across online, live, and partner routes, MPP 2025 is set to attract an even larger field than last year’s record-breaking event.
Building on Last Year's Success
The 2024 edition of the MPP was a major success, with the Main Event exceeding its guarantee by over $1 million. A total of 1,260 entries generated a $6,048,000 prize pool, with eventual champion Azamat Lamkov taking home $1 million.
More than 170 players qualified for MPP packages through online satellites last year, and Lamkov was among them. Lamkov progressed to the MPP Main Event from a $125 buy-in satellite and turned that into a seven-figure windfall.
