Jennifer Harman at the World Series of Poker

Harman won her first WSOP bracelet in 2000, winning a No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw event in what was her very first time playing that particular discipline. The story is that she received a five-minute tutoring session from Howard Lederer before playing.

"I won the bracelet when I didn’t know the game beforehand," she told Somuchpoker in 2017. "Howard basically gave me a sheet to study, with what hands to play in what positions. "

Two years later, she won her second WSOP bracelet in a $5,000 No-Limit Texas Hold'em event. At the time, she was the first woman to win two "open" WSOP bracelets (not including the Ladies Event). She has since been joined by Vanessa Selbst, Loni Harwood and Kristen Bicknell.

Harman continues to play at the World Series of Poker, cashing three times in 2019 and once during the inaugural WSOP Online on WSOP.com.
