Nishant Sharma is an Indian poker player who won his first bracelet at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. Sharma took down the $800 Deepstack No-Limit Hold'em event for $196,659.
Although Sharma was relatively unknown in American poker circles, he was considered a star in the Eastern Hemisphere. As of July 2026, Sharma had amassed more than $3.3 million in live tournament earnings, enough for fifth place in India's all-time money list.
The prize money that Sharma collected for his bracelet victory was only his fourth-largest cash. He had previously won an event in Malaysia for $208,325. He also banked $230,475 for a 34th place finish in the 2018 WSOP Main Event, and a cool $1,181,559 for a victory in an Asian Poker Tour Taipei City Main Event in November 2025.
