Ottomar Ladva

Biography

Ottomar Ladva is an Estonian professional poker player and former chess Grandmaster who sits 2nd on Estonia's all-time money list as of November 2025.

At the 2025 BSOP Super High Roller Series, he won the $20,000 One-Day Super High Roller, outlasting a 58-entry field to claim $321,000 after a heads-up deal with Rodrigo Selouan. Reflecting on the victory, Ladva said, “Yeah, I’m super tired, but also happy… I ended up playing fifteen hours. But the result is pretty good.”

Ladva became the youngest ever winner of the Estonian Chess Championship at 13 and won it three more times before focusing on poker. He has accumulated more than $3 million in live earnings.
