Dan Zack's victory in Event #96: $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha was the icing on the cake, increasing Team BTG's lead from just 11 points to a clean 100 points.

Team Liaison leapfrogged Team Phenom into fifth place, while Team Survivor Sweat and Team Wass burst into the top 10.

Two results for Team Survivor Sweat saw them secure seventh place, as Ben Yu finished ninth in #98: $25,000 High Roller H.O.R.S.E. and Sam Laskowitz finished sixth in Event #99: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em.

Team Wass also came from the clouds with 132 points, mostly thanks to Brian Rast's runner-up finish and John Hennigan's seventh-place finish in Event #98: $25,000 High Roller H.O.R.S.E..

Chad Eveslage won Event #98: $25,000 High Roller H.O.R.S.E. ahead of a final table packed with 25K Fantasy players. Eveslage defeated a field of 150 players to win his fourth bracelet and $883,841.

WSOP Day 51: Team BTG Leads Late Stage of Daniel Negreanu's 25K Fantasy League

It's the final day of the 2025 World Series of Poker at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas and Team BTG is poised for victory in the 14th Annual Daniel Negreanu 25K Fantasy League.

The $25,000 buy-in Fantasy League drew 24 teams for a $600,000 prize pool that will see the winning team take home $250,000 the runner-up earning $125,000 and third place winning $100,000. Fourth and fifth will respectively take home $75,000 and $50,000.

With just a half-dozen events left to play out, Team BTG sits in front with 1,194, propelled by the strong summers of Dylan Linde, Isaac Haxton, Nick Guagenti and Punnat Punsri. Not far behind is Team Lady Gaga with 1,174 points after Adam Hendrix's sixth-place finish in the WSOP Main Event good for 172 points.

25k Fantasy Bracelet Winners at the 2025 WSOP

PokerNews reported last month that 27 gold bracelets had been awarded to either 25K Fantasy players this summer. Since then, an additional seven bracelets have gone to Fantasy players for a total of 34 across 94 events.

ODB Bonus player Michael Wang took down Event #74: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship, while Aaron Kupin of Team Hoggers took down Event #76: $2,500 Mixed Big Bet Event for 79 points.

Not long after, Shaun Deeb won Event #79: $100,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller for 126 points and to take the Player of the Year lead before Mike Gorodinsky of Team Splashy Octopi won Event #82: $10,000 Eight Game Mixed Championship for 126 points.

The very next event, PokerGO founder Cary Katz of Team AJ's Eagles won Event #83: $2,500 Freezeout No-Limit Hold'em for 87 points. Sam Soverel of Team Lang later won Event #94: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em Championship for 130.

All eyes were on the Main Event as Michael Mizrachi achieved the incredible feat of winning the Poker Players Championship and world championship in the same summer, enough to get him fast-tracked directly into the Poker Hall of Fame. It also earned ODB Bonus team some points.

2025 WSOP Day 32: 1996 WSOP Main Event Champ Huck Seed Last 25K Player in Event #69

On Day 31 of the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP), the Event #64: $1,000 Super Seniors final table will play out, but none of the remaining field are 25K Fantasy players nor ODB Bonus players.

Over in Event #66: $50,000 Poker Players Championship, the money bubble burst at the end of Day 3, so for Day 4 just 17 players will return, including ODB Bonus players Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi and Andrew Yeh, who sit third and first in chips, respectively. As for 25K players returning, they include Ben Lamb (Team Money Mondays Podcast), Mike Matusow (Team Negreanu), Esther Taylor (Team Survivor Sweat), Erick Lindgren (Team Negreanu), Ali Eslami (Team Survivor Sweat), Marco Johnson (Team Survivor Sweat), Christian Roberts (Team Girl Dads), Justin Liberto (Team AJ’s Eagles), Joao Vieira (Team Lady Gaga), Christopher Vitch (Team Phenom), Ben Yu (Team Survivor Sweat), and ), Jon Kyte (Team Glue Factory).

After Day 2 of Event #68: $3,000 No-Limit Hold’em, 127 players from a 2,338-entry field found a bag. Among them are Dan Sepiol (Team Phenom), Martin Zamani (Team AJ’s Eagles), Stephen Song (Team DPMD), Arthur Morris (Team AJ’s Eagles), Dylan Linde (Team BTG), Adrian Mateos (Team Splash Sports), Ari Engel (Team Lang), Robert Wells (Team Hoggers), Ren Lin (Team Splash Sports), Chino Rheem (Team Handsome Horses); as well as, Nitesh Rawtani, Evan Sandberg, and Michael Berk.

In Event #69: $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better, the field is down to the final 11 players from the original 615 runners. The only player remaining is 1996 WSOP Main Event champ Huck Seed (Team Phenom), who is on the shorter side of things, sitting eighth in chips.

Finally, over in Event #71: $10,000 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw Championship, there are plenty of fantasy implications among the 50 returning players, including chip leader Jon Shoreman (Team DPMD), Yueqi Zhu (Team NOVIG), John Monnette (Team Liaison), Jeremy Ausmus (Team DPMD), and Daniel Negreanu (Team Negreanu), among many others.

2025 WSOP Day 30: Team Lang's Reichard Leads Milly Maker Final Table; Shack-Harris & Turner Last 25K Players in Event #62

On Day 30 of the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP), Event #53: $1,500 Millionaire Maker is down to the final seven players from a 11,996-entry field. Josh Reichard (Team Lang) is the only 25K Fantasy player remaining, and he just so happens to hold a big chip lead. Not only will he be earning Team Lang some valuable points, but he could very well walk away with the $1,255,180 top prize and his first WSOP gold bracelet after several close calls.

Event #62: $5,000 6-Handed NLH started with 1,168 runners, but only 54 of them will return for Day 3. They include Jake Schwartz (Hoggers), Anthony Zinno (Negreanu), Renji Mao (Splash Sports), Mustapha Kanit (Team Australia), Ryan Leng (Frog Poison), and Renan Bruschi (Team Wass); as well as, ODB Bonus player Michael Wang.

Just 11 players from a 635-entry field return for Day 3 in Event #63: $1,500 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw, including the 25K Fantasy players in the short-stacked Jon Turner (Team Negreanu) and Brandon Shack-Harris (Team Australia).

Day 2 of Event #64: $1,000 Super Seniors will have 880 players return to action, but none of them are 25K Fantasy players nor ODB Bonus players.

On the flip side, Day 2 of Event #66: $50,000 Poker Players Championship will see a ton of 25K Fantasy players return including chip leader Ali Eslami (Team Survivor Sweat), Jeremy Ausmus (Team DPMD), Chris “Big Huni” Hunichen (Team Handsome Horses), Christopher Vitch (Team Phenom), and ODB Bonus player Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi, who all sit in the top five chip counts.

2025 WSOP Day 26: Jason Mercier Seeks 7th Gold Bracelet Among Final 4 in $10K H.O.R.S.E. Championship

On Day 26 of the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP), Day 5 of Event #48: $1,000 Senior’s NLH Championship will see seven players from a 7,575-entry field return to action including ODB Bonus player Manish Madan, though he is the extreme short stack so will face an uphill battle to capture the bracelet.

Just four players from a 207-entry field remain in Event #55: $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship, including Brad Ruben (Team NOVIG) and Jason Mercier (Team Hoggers), who sit third and fourth in chips, respectively.

Event #56: $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball will see 15 players from a 463-entry field return to action including chip leader David “Bakes” Baker (Team Jeremy’s), Benny Glaser (Team Dinkers), Yuval Bronshtein (Team Brown’s Bargain Bin), and Chino Rheem (Team Handsome Horses).

Finally, Event #57: $50,000 PLO High Roller drew 148 runners on Day 1, but only 62 players advanced including dozens of 25K Fantasy players such as Biao Ding (Team Noori), Alex Foxen (Team Lady Gaga), Eelis Parssinen (Team Jeremy’s), Sean Winter (Team Wass), Isaac Haxton (Team BTG), Arthur Morris (Team AJ’s Eagles), Artur Martirosian (Team Jeremy’s), Shaun Deeb (Team Phenom), and John Riordan (Team Splashy Octopi).
