Melin Crashes Out to Hanna

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

After Gerald Ringe in early position opened to 4,500, Catherine Hanna called in middle position and Sinem Melin raised to 21,000 from the big blind. She got two calls, and went to a flop of {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}.

Melin led for 25,000 and got a call from Ringe, but Hanna raised to 60,000. When Melin moved all-in for 200,000, only Hanna called it off.

Catherine Hanna: {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Sinem Melin: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

The turn of {7-Hearts} changed little, with Melin still needing to find a king, but the {5-Spades} ended her tournament before the money.

We have 60 players left, with a reminder that only 36 get paid. Action has not slowed down!

Fletcher Has Been 'Sapiano'd'

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Arron Fletcher's tournament is over after he was busted in the biggest pot of the tournament so far.

Fletcher and Albert Sapiano both called a raise to 5,200 pre-flop and saw a flop of {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts} . Sapiano bet 6,500 and only Fletcher called. The turn of {4-Diamonds} lit the blue touch paper as Sapiano bet 80,000!

Arron Fletcher went into the tank for four minutes, and it was only when Albert started vocally announcing that if Fletcher went all-in that he'd call did Fletcher do exactly that and move all-in for around 243,000 total.

Arron Fletcher: {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Albert Sapiano: {4-Hearts}{5-Spades}

Any ace, ten or eight would send Sapiano down to just a couple of big blinds himself, but the river was the {9-Clubs} and Fletcher's tournament was over. Albert Sapiano has the chip lead with over half a million chips.

Chattha Loses a Chunk Then Gets It Back

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

On a board of {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{5-Spades} , we saw Charles Chattha bet 17,000 on the river with the pot at around 40,000.

Shah Raza Salma had the decision, and he elected to call eventually.

Charles Chattha: {J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Shah Raza Salma: {J-Spades}{10-Spades}

Salma chipped up and Chattha was left short, but just a couple of hands later, the former Hit Squad member got all of his chips into the middle and got a little lucky. At risk to finish outside the money with pocket tens and called pre-flop for his tournament life by a gentleman with pocket queens, Chattha found a ten on the flop to double back up. He is still under average.

Hof Heading Home

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante
Natalie Hof in her 888Poker 'Bounty Hat'.
Natalie Hof in her 888Poker 'Bounty Hat'.

German Team 888Poker ambassador Natalie Hof is out of the 888Poker London Live Main Event after getting her chips into the middle after a raise pre-flop from Chris Da-Silva and a call from a player in middle position. Only Da-Silva called Hof's move all-in, which was with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} and Da-Silva turned over pocket nines.

The flop contained three spades, giving Hof plenty of hope for a four-flush double up and a way back into contention to win the event. But the run-out wasn't kind to the newest member of Team 888Poker.

"It came brick-brick. Like always!" she joked afterwards.

While Hof is out, Da-Silva now has around 180,000 chips.

Grafton Grabs Lead as Spearing Walks Into a Freezer

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Sam Grafton raised from middle position to 12,200 and when Martin Spearing moved all-in for well over 100,000 chips, Grafton had an easy call.

Martin Spearing: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}
Sam Grafton: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}

The board of {2-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} saw Spearing exit after a handshake with Grafton. The ebullient London professional now has the chip lead in the room.

Kozlovas Doubles With Sevens

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Tomas Kozlovas moved all-in from the hijack position with {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and was called by the small blind with {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

The board of {7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} left his opponent shaking his head but gave Kozlovas an improbable route back into the game.
