888 Qualifier David Dolan Eliminated

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

"You missed my bustout hand!" said David Dolan as he came back into the poker room a short while after we noticed his seat was empty.

He told us that three players saw a flop of {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. It checked to him and he bet 4,100. One player called, and then that player moved all in for 15,000 on the turn over the {7-Clubs}. Dolan called with {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and his opponent turned over {7-}{8-}.

The river was the {k-Diamonds} and Dolan headed to the exit.

Mohammed Suhail Doubles Through Filippo Ragone

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Mohammed Suhail
Mohammed Suhail

Mohammed Suhail raised to 3,600 from under the gun despite having made it clear to the table that he intended to shove blind.

It folded to Filippo Ragone in the hijack who three-bet to 11,000. When the action was back on Suhail he moved all in for 32,600 and Ragone called.

"You wait for four hours and shove with that?" exclaimed Daniel Levy from the cutoff as Suhail turned over {k-Spades}{10-Spades}. Suhail was dominated as his opponent held {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}.

The flop was a good one for the all in player as it came {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs}. The turn was the {2-Spades} and the river the {3-Clubs}. As the dealer counted out Suhail's stack, Ragone slammed a stack of chips down on the table before sliding some over to his opponent.

Sofia Lovgren vs Ertan Sumer

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Sofia Lovgren went to raise from under the gun, but put out too few chips and it was ruled a call. David Dolan called her limp before Ertan Sumer raised to 4,200. Both Lovgren and Dolan called.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. It checked to Sumer who bet 8,000. Lovgren was the only caller. The pair saw the {5-Hearts} on the turn and both players checked. The river was the {a-Hearts} and Lovgren bet 9,500. Sumer called quickly.

Lovgren showed {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and Sumer {j-Spades}{4-Clubs} and they chopped the pot, both with an ace-high straight.

"I knew you were full of shit," said Dolan jokingly as Sumer pulled in his half of the pot, "Although I guess it was a nice flop for you!"

Voivod Loses "Unbelievable" Hand

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

The cutoff limped, as did all the players through until the big blind.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. It checked to the Mircea Voivod on the button who bet 2,100. Rana Adnan was the only caller in the cutoff.

Adnan checked the {6-Spades} on the turn and then called a bet of 5,300 from his opponent.

The river was the {j-Hearts} and Adnan led for 12,000. Voivod shook his head. He counted out his chips and then scratched his forehead, holding his chips painstakingly close to the line before letting them tumble out of his hand to indicate a call.

Adnan showed {10-Spades}{9-Spades} for a straight and Voivod let out a cry of "Unbelievable!" whilst simultaenously flinging {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs} across the table in disbelief.

Gjoka Scoops Monster Pot

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

On a board of {9-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{8-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and with over 30,000 in the pot already, Artur Gjoka bet 25,000 and Mohammed Suhail was facing a decision.

Eventually he called and Gjoka announced "Full house" and tabled {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Suhail winced and mucked his cards.
