Day 1c Completed
With both flights 1a and 1b attracting over 90 runners, there was a thought that flight 1d could be a lot smaller. However, a total of 97 players paid the £440 to enter, all with a chance of taking home a slice of the £100,000 guarantee.
In fact that guarantee got a whole lot bigger today, as the 250 players needed was smashed. Although exact numbers and prizepool confirmation will be released tomorrow, players are guaranteed over the £100,000 mark announced before the event, a fact that all remaining players will be immensely pleased with.
From the 97 runners today only 28 will be advancing, joining the 42 from the previous day 1s. Leading the final 28 tonight is 888 Qualifier Million Yehdgo Yosief who bagged 379,800 who managed to bag his seat in the event for $12.
On a table with Julian Hazelhof and Leo Van De Geer for the later stages of the night, he scooped a massive knockout when his Ace-Eight cracked the pocket queens of his opponent to help propel him to over 350,000 chips.
Despite this late surge, his total of 379,800 is just over 2,000 chips short of the Day 1b and current overall chip leader Dan Wicks who bagged up 382,000.
Other big stacks from Day 1c include Mark Harding (253,900), Jen Yue Chiang (187,700) and Dillon Scanlan (165,900). Apart from these three players, no other player amassed a stack of more than 150,000.
Players in flight 1d have one level to go, but they currently have 9 players from the 24 who entered. Click on the Day 1d tab above to find full chip counts once that has reached its conclusion.
