Net Doubles Through Istomin

Level 9 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante

Aleksei Istomin raised from the hijack and Rembert Net moved all in for 51,000 out of the big blind. Istomin called and had a flip when the cards were turned over.

Rembert Net: {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}
Aleksei Istomin: {A-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

The {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop gave Net a set, and he locked up the double with the {7-Spades} turn. This made the {3-Hearts} river a formality and the Dutchman doubled to more than the starting stack on his second bullet.

Serra Esteve Busts

Level 9 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante

Aku Joentausta three-bet out of the big blind and bet a flop of {6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for 25,000. His sole remaining opponent Ramon Miquel Munoz moved all in and Joentausta snap-folded.

Then, Francois Evard raised and called the shove of Bruno Politano with ace-ten. Politano showed {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}. The board came {K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and the kicker played.

Last but not least, Vicente Serra Esteve jammed for less than 20 big blinds with ace-four. Aleksei Istomin called with {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and held up on a blank board.

Level 8 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Bruno Politano
Bruno Politano

Bruno Politano raised from under the gun and Hubert Stachowski flat-called from two seats over. The action then reached Sergio Fernandez Bernal in the big blind and he made it 26,000 to go. Politano squeezed to 53,000 and Stachowski shoved for 63,300. Both opponents called and the flop fell {J-Spades}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. Fernandez Bernal moved all in and Politano quickly called.

Hubert Stachowski: {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Bruno Politano: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Sergio Fernandez Berna: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

The {9-Spades} turn was an additonal sweat, and the {9-Clubs} river gave Fernandez Bernal the winning flush and a massive pot. The Spaniard doubled for another 138,900 through Politano, and the 888poker ambassador was left short.

Level 8 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Kelly Kellner
Kelly Kellner

Kelly Kellner's {5-}{4-} were all but rushed into the muck already while the Canadian left the table with a "that will teach me a lesson." According to players at the table, Kellner had defended his blind and check-called a bet by initial raiser Sergi Escote Sanchez de Leon on the {7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop.

Kellner then bet the {Q-Diamonds} turn and shoved the {5-Diamonds} river when he improved to two pair. Escote Sanchez de Leon snap-called with {7-Clubs}{7-Spades} for a flopped set and raked in the huge pot.

Szaszko versus Langrock

Level 7 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Oleg Egorov raised and picked up a three-bet to 11,000 by Bence Szaszko, which Sebastian Langrock four-bet to 23,000. Egorov called but Szaszko called. Langrock continued for 21,000 on the {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop and the {K-Hearts} fell oin the turn. Langrock bet 23,500 and Szaszko raised to 55,000 with some 40,000 behind.

Langrock took a long time and eventually folded. "You got queens?" Szaszko asked and Langrock indeed showed {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. Szaszko returned the favor and flashed {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}. "I meant to raise to put you all in," Szaszko added.
