Cross Takes from Matsioukkou

Level 7 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Below are assorted chip counts. Valerie Ross took a bigger pot off Michael Matsioukkou after her bet of 32,000 on the {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} river was called. Ross turned over {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} for the nut flush and Matsioukkou mucked.

Lose One, Win One

Level 7 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Kelly Kellner first saw Guillem Cusco Bach double for 43,300 with {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} against his {A-Spades}{K-Hearts} after the Spaniard got his stacks in preflop. "Three kings on the flop," Kellner asked for, but instead the board ran out {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

Kellner then knocked out a short stack with {Q-Clubs}{6-Clubs} versus {A-Spades}{4-Diamonds} to get most chips back, it was not without a sweat though on a board of {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}.

Stephens Busts to Galindo Lopez

Level 7 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante
Sally Stephens

Until the river of a board {A-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{7-Clubs}, there were around 60,000 in the middle and Sally Stephens checked with 43,000 left. Josep Maria Galindo Lopez bet 50,000 and Stephens started some table talk. "I have seen it so many times on TV," the American added.

Eventually she called and was shown {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} by Galindo Lopez, mucking her {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and leaving the table with a "that was an expensive lesson" on her lips. At the same time on another table, Sergio Alonso Camunas was also eliminated.

Action on Table 17

Hampus Persson clashed with Kelly Kellner and check-raised all in after the {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop. Kellner had the far bigger stack, but his {Q-Spades}{6-Spades} was no good against Persson's {K-Spades}{J-Spades}. The {9-Diamonds} turn and {J-Clubs} river completed the board and Persson doubled to more than the average stack with a full house, while the former big stack of Kellner melted some more.

Then, Ema Zajmovic raised to 5,300 and picked up two callers including Arturo Espuny Juarez in the small blind. Federico Cirillo moved all in for 43,100 in the big blind and Zajmovic called. One of the cold-callers folded, before Espuny Juarez moved all in for another 60,000 on top. Zajmovic snap-called with the biggest stack of the trio to put two players at risk.

Ema Zajmovic: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Federico Cirillo: {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}
Arturo Espuny Juarez: {Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The board ran out {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{J-Spades} and Cirillo more than tripled up, while Espuny Juarez joined the rail.

Egorov Busts Rotko

Level 6 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

The stacks of Max Rotko and Oleg Egorov went in after the flop of {A-Spades}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Rotko was the player at risk with {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}. Egorov had the {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} and instantly connected with the {2-Spades} turn, rendering the {10-Spades} river meaningless.

Rush Hour for Jaksland

Level 6 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Peter Jaksland

With more than 100,000 in the middle, the board showed {J-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Spades} and Sergio Alonso Camunas checked out of the big blind. Peter Jaksland moved all in for 103,500 and Alonso Camunas called, then mucked his {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} in disgust after Jaksland showed {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for the nut flush.

Just one hand later, Jaksland raised and Francois Evard shoved for 39,000 from one seat over. Once it folded back to the Dane, Jaksland quickly called.

Peter Jaksland: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Francois Evard: {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

The {K-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop gave Jaksland top pair and Evard the nut flush draw. Both the {A-Diamonds} turn and {2-Hearts} river changed nothing and Jaksland sent Evard to the rail.
