Not long after Scott was eliminated Natalie Hof was out too and she had a similarly grisly tale to tell.
Starting with around 36 big blinds there was an open from the button and Hof three-bet to 6,200 from the big blind.
Her opponent jammed and Hof called.
Hof had ![]()

The use of the 888Poker Shot Clocks has mostly been judged a success at the High Roller and Main Event with very few complaints but some interesting suggestions.
Chuc Khuu thought that two 60-second time bank chips were not enough and suggest four for a nine hour tournament.
One of the dealers, who are charged with the task of keeping an eye on the timer, thought a beep at 10 seconds would help them as it can be difficult to watch the action and the clock at the same time.
Another player who was enjoying the shot clock today suggested that if you bust a player you should win their time bank chips as well, then at the final table it would create an added dimension and dynamic depending on who had the most time available to make tough decisions.
This has been a test run for 888Poker and Aspers with a lot of useful feedback. Is the shot clock here to stay? Only “time” and the players will tell.
The clock is showing 196 unique and 45 re-entries for a total of 241 entries.
As the penultimate level draws to a close there are 112 players at the tables.
At the end of this level they will have a 20-minute break before playing out the last level when the survivors will bag up their chips to return for Day 2 tomorrow at 2 p.m.
Last 15-minute break of the day.
