2017 888Live Poker Festival London
Starting the day with 141 players that number has been cut in half to just 70 remaining now.
Mohammed Suhail was all in and the player at risk against Christopher Yong.
The good news for Suhail was he had got it in good with Queens versus the Jacks of Yong.
The bad news came right on the flop when a Jack popped out of the deck to give Yong a winning set.

Antonis Poulengeris on the small blind and Yilfer Shevket in the big blind and the smaller stack got all the chips in the middle and it was a race.

Ace on the river, as someone once said, and a double up from 72,000 for Shevket.

Mark Smith is still the chip leader by some margin with a bunch of people in the middle pack behind and a few shorties anxious to get a double up as the bubble approaches with 45 players set to get paid and 59 left with chips.
You can watch the Feature Table with Commentary from David Tuchman on a half hour delay with hole cards.
There are 35 runners for the ladies event and it looks like this event is going to be a lot of fun as the champagne corks popped and it was Asper’s finest bubbly all round with most players accepting a glass.
Not that the tournament won’t be extremely competitive, as there is an added prize for first place of a $13,000 World Series of Europe package. Late reg is open for 8 levels and a £55 buy-in gets you a 10,000 starting stack.
In the field already are Team 888Poker Ambassadors Kara Scott, Natalie Hof and Sophia Lovgren.
