Play at the 888Live room at Aspers will continue until approximately 3:30 a.m. With top stacks around the 300,000 mark they still have some way to even get close to the Day 1a chip leader Jamie Spencer who finished on 1,083,000 way ahead of his second placed rival Paul Bahbout on 489,000.

There were 21 players who bagged up chips on Day 1a from the 182 entries.

As play neared the end of Day 1b there were 243 entries with 117 still in but entries and re-buys are still available.

It’s going to be a very busy Saturday at Aspers with a Turbo Satellite to the Opening Event starting at 12 p.m. and Day 1c starting at 2 p.m. The final chance to make Day 2 is the 6 p.m. Turbo Day 1d.
