Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante
Ludovic Geilich in action in the High Roller
Ludovic Geilich in action in the High Roller

Nikolay Zhadanov opened to 3,500 from early position and Ludovic Geilich defended his big blind.

The flop came {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Geilich check-called a bet of 2,500 from his opponent. The turn was the {9-Hearts} and again Geilich check-called, a bet of 4,000 this time.

The river was the {5-Spades} and Geilich checked a third time and watched Zhadanov bet 5,000. Geilich scratched his head but eventually slid out one 5,000-value chip to call.

Zhadanov turned over {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} and Geilich nodded, mucking his cards.

Mohamed Aglan Gets Value

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

On a board of {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{2-Spades} Mohamed Aglan was in a pot with one other player. The player in the small blind checked to Aglan who bet 4,500. His opponent called.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and Aglan's opponent check-called a bet of 10,000.

The river was the {9-Spades} and again Aglan's opponent checked. This time Aglan bet 20,000 and his opponent quickly called. Aglan showed {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} for two pair, and his opponent shook his head before folding {a-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}.

At the same time as Aglan was gathering his chips, Chris Moorman was spotted taking his seat.

Vojtech Ruzicka Eliminated by Mohamed Aglan

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante

Mohamed Aglan limped from early position and Suleyman Erdan raised to 2,500. Vojtech Ruzicka called on the button and the small blind called as well.

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. The small blind checked and Aglan bet 4,500. Erdan called and Ruzicka moved all in for 13,825. The small blind folded, and Aglan then moved all in himself for around 80,000. Erdan gave it some thought but eventually folded.

Ruzicka: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Aglan: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

Ruzicka had a flush draw but that hope was extinguished, as the {7-Spades} on the turn had him drawing dead. The {5-Spades} on the river was but a mere formality and Ruzicka was eliminated.

Oleg Volter Wins a Small One

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante

On a board of {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades} one time chip leader Oleg Volter, who soared into a monster chip lead after eliminating two players when he held aces, had bet 15,000. His opponent called and the {6-Spades} came on the river. His opponent checked and this time Volter bet 25,000.

His opponent called and Volter turned over {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and took down the pot for a timely boost to his stack. He may be down from the heady heights he once found himself, but he's still in - and that's the main thing!
