Day 1b Set To Kick off Soon; Day 1c Begins at 8 p.m. Local Time
Welcome back to PokerNews' coverage of 888Live São Paulo. Day 1a saw 44 players enter with only 13 surviving through the day. Today both Day 1b and 1c will commence at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time. We can expect to see plenty more joining the action with the High Roller registration closing and the Main Event being the only game in town. Players are also able to re-enter on any of the starting flights, so some may fire multiple bullets.
The plan for today is to play 10 levels for each flight, starting with a stack of 25,000 and blinds starting at 50/100. We'll be keeping a close eye on the field to see who joins and we'll be bringing you longer feature pieces about today's action as well as a recap at the end of the day to tie it all together. Once Day 2 begins on Sunday we'll be right back with our normal hand for hand coverage.
