Some Updates From the Main Event Day 1b and 1c

Currently, the Main Event Day 1b has been capped out at 68 entrants for Day 1b. Of those entrants, there are currently 27 left alive with just a few levels left to play. Day 1c currently has 30 entrants in level 3. With two more levels left of registration, that number is sure to grow as players have started busting from Day 1b left and right.

The High Roller is currently down to just 15 players with Felipe Ramos busting out in the last level after not being able to find much traction after the dinner break. The prize pool has also been announced for that event and can be found within the tab for the High Roller as well as an interview with Bruno Politano who was the chip leader at the dinner break, but now sits in the middle of the pack.

A full recap of Day 1b and 1c will be posted Friday morning along with updates from the chip leaders and more and we will begin coverage of Day 1d with some looks at the Flop O Mania Tournament as well as the celebrity invitational.

In the meantime, PokerNews' Nicki Pickering caught up with Sofia Lövgren who talked about what she's been up to in São Paolo.
