Kulikovs Cracks Aces with Quad Kings
Andrejs Kulikov was down to 15,000 and it all wound up in the middle of the pot preflop when he was dealt against Vladislav Metelitsa who held .
It wasn't looking good for Kulikov, but things looked up after a king spiked the flop. To add insult to injury, Metelitsa was drawing dead after the on the turn gave Kulikov quads.
The on the river completed the hand and Kulikov doubled up to more than a starting stack.

Daniel Hoy-Nielsen Wins it on the Flop
Ireland's Daniel Hoy-Nielsen has just one cash outside of his home country and it came in a tournament at this very casino last September for his biggest live tournament cash to date.

A player limped from early position and Kontis Miltiadis limped along. Ariel Puterman jacked it up to 2,100 from the small blind and both his opponents called.
Puterman bet 2,600 on the [scksas] flop. The opening limper folded before Miltiadis called. Both players checked after the appeared on the turn and the paired the board on the river.
Puterman turned over for two pair which apparently was good enough since Miltiadis tossed his hand into the muck.

Palacios Wins With Queen-Jack
We caught up with Aasa Elisabeth Holmberg during the dinner break who explained to PokerNews that since many people have trouble pronouncing her name, they wind up calling her awesome.
She thus far has had an awesome start but just lost a hand after the dinner break.
Holmberg opened to 1,200 from early position and got a call from Oriol Gregori Palacios from the big blind.
Palacios checked the flop before he called a continuation bet of 2,300 from Holmberg.
Both players checked after the appeared on the turn before Palacios bet 3,000. Holmberg let about half her time bank wind down before she called.
Palacios collected the pot after he turned over for top pair and Holmberg tossed her hand into the muck.
