Debauris Deividas Ships a Family Pot

Level 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

The hand began with a player limping under the gun before Debauris Deividas raised from one seat over to 1,025. Roland Rozel called from the button as did the players from the blinds and the limper.

The action was checked to Deividas after the flop came {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and he led out for 2,300. Rozel called and the other three opponents folded.

Both players checked after the {A-Spades} appeared on the turn before Deividas fired for 10,000 after the {K-Diamonds} completed the board on the river.

Rozel folded to ship Deividas a healthy pot. There was some confusion as to whether he wanted to show the table one of his cards. Eventually, he pointed to one and the dealer turned over the {6-Clubs}.

Jon Kyte Eliminated With Suited Connectors

Level 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

Yesterday, Jon Kyte took seventh place in the 888poker LIVE Barcelona €2,200 High Roller for €9,500. Today hasn't gone as well for the Norwegian as his seat is now occupied by a new player.

Kyte's friend, Stian Knutson who was sitting next to him shared with PokerNews how Kyte hit the rail.

Kyte was low on chips and jammed for 3,700 with {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. Gediminas Dirmantas called with {a-}{k-}. The board was unable to improve Kyte's hand and he went to at a minimum take a break.

Kyte shared with Knutson that he wasn't sure whether he would reenter or not today as reentry is open through all of the opening flights and up until the start of Day 2.

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Francesco Di Profio opened to 550 from early position before Jean Christophe Paul Deville three-bet to 2,575. Yaron Ben Avi called from the button before Di Profio folded.

A single continuation bet of 3,400 on the {4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop by Deville took down the hand and his stack grew to around 41,000.

"Nice River" For Andersson

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

John Denis Rafael Andersson opened for 400 and called a three-bet from Gediminas Dirmantas to 1,100.

Andersson checked after the flop came {7-Spades}{8-Hearts}{a-Spades}. Dirmantas bet 1,100 and Andersson quickly called.

Another check came from Andersson after the {3-Clubs} appeared on the turn. Dirmantas bet 2,200 and Andersson looked deep in thought. The dealer pointed out that Andersson had 10 seconds left on the shot clock. Andersson acknowledged this before he called.

Andersson then fired out for 6,000 after the {4-Spades} completed the board on the river and his opponent quickly folded.

Jon Kyte, who is also at the same table, said to Andersson, "Nice river."
