Nik Persaud

Nik Persaud ended up all in and at risk with the {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Helmut Hauser called with the {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}. The board came {A-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Persaud was no longer in contention.

Hauser took a small hit to his stack shortly after as Gaetano Luppina got it in with the {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} and Hauser only held {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. The board came {K-Spades}{9-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{K-Diamonds} and Luppina doubled once more.

Miranda and Penev Bust in Cruel Fashion

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Fabio Miranda
Fabio Miranda

Derek Lawless raised and called the shove of Fabio Miranda for more than 32 big blinds and the table was somewhat stunned to see Lawless turn over the {K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. Miranda had the {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} and saw the board run out {10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs}.

Soon after, Attila Havacs raised and called the shove of Zlatin Penev, who got the remaining 145,000 in the middle with the best of it.

Zlatin Penev: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}
Attila Havacs: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}

The board came {Q-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Penev busted in very unfortunate fashion.

In the meanwhile, the live stream has caught up on the eliminations of Romain Lewis and Andrew Hulme, who were ousted in 50th and 48th place.

Back to Back Queens for Muehloecker

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Thomas Muehloecker
Thomas Muehloecker

Alejandro Perez Torres won a flip for 49,000 with {A-Spades}{10-Spades} against the {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} of Jun Young Park on a board of {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. Soon after, Park and Thomas Muehloecker played a big pot and Park jammed the {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} turn with the [AhJd for the last 132,000]. Muehloecker called with {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and the {K-Diamonds} river was a blank.

Geoffrey Mooney also fell victim to the hot run of Muehloecker when he was at risk for 156,000 preflop with {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}, again Muehloecker had the best of it with the {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}. The board came {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Muehloecker scored back-to-back eliminations.

Set for Merfeldas; Seat Open for Hizer

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Paul Hizer
Paul Hizer

Paul Hizer finished third in the High Roller and also cashed in the Main Event, but his run just came to an end.

Hizer had grinded a shorter stack for the past hour and was all in with the {Q-Hearts}{7-Spades}, facing Arvydas Merfeldas and his {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. Hizer improved on the {J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop, but was left drawing dead on the {5-Hearts} turn to make the {9-Diamonds} river a formality.

"My first set today, I am so excited," Merfeldas exclaimed.

Yi Doubles; Allera Bubbles

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Florence Allera
Florence Allera

Mark Yi had shoved for 110,000 first to act and Orpen Kisacikoglu reshoved from late position to isolate. Once all other tables had finished their action, they proceeded with the showdown.

Mark Yi: {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}
Orpen Kisacikoglu: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}

The board came {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Yi doubled.

One other showdown was ongoing and the board over on table four had already been completed and showed {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}. With more than 250,000 in the middle, Fuad Serhan bet 51,000 and Florence Allera shoved for around 110,000. Allera was already on her way out and the cards had been exposed, the Frenchwoman knew she would end up empty-handed with {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for a set.

Serhan had {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} for the superior set and let the bubble burst.
