Nita Triples Up

Ion Nita ended up all in for 8,300 and Mihnea Potcoava was all in for slightly more, while Marius Pertea had both easily covered to create a three-way showdown on the table of defending champion Andrei Racolta.

Ivgi Jams Up His Stack

It started rather innocent with a raise to 1,300 in early position and three callers including Kfir Ivgi in the small blind. By the time the turn showed {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, Ivgi checked and called a bet by Florin Iliescu in late position. The {j-Diamonds} came on the river and Ivgi jammed for 29,400 in total.

Eventually, Iliescu folded the {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} face up and Ivgi revealed the {10-Hearts}. "Is that good?" he asked and continued "no jack and it is pain for you."

Valilis Jams Into Rotariu

Johan Guilbert was eliminated over on table one and George Roratiu made have experienced the same fate, but opted to fold to a jam by Angelos Valilis with the board reading {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. Rotariu even revealed his {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} before sending the cards into the muck.

Guilbert subsequently re-entered and headed to a different table.

Farcasanu Elimimnated by Dobrescu

Valentin Dobrescu opened to 2,100 and a short-stacked Alexandru Farcasanu jammed from two seats over for 11,500. Dobrescu wasted all but a moment to toss in a single chip for the call.

On a three-way flop of {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, Manfred Sierke in the blinds and Stefan Drusca checked and Liviu Catalin Toderita made it 2,600 to go, which Sierke called. On the {j-Hearts} turn, Sierke check-jammed into a bet of 3,600 and Toderita folded the {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} face-up.

Somehow it was Radulescu that showed first, revealing {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}, and Proscia had that beat with {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} to further add to his massive stack.

On the three-way flop of {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, Ozgur Arda made it 2,700 to go and he was called by David Hughes on the button, the third player in the hand folded. On the {7-Hearts} turn, Arda slowed down and checked, then called a bet of 6,200 by Hughes.

The {4-Spades} on the river was checked and Hughes tabled {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}, but Arda had the best of it with {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for a straight.
