Dmitry Vitkind
Dmitry Vitkind

Shortly after joining the action, Dmitry Vitkind was involved into a bigger pot after he defended his big blind against Rustam Khamatgareev. On a {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop, Vitkind check-called a bet of 700 and then led the {a-Hearts} turn for 5,000 into a pot of 8,000. Khamatgareev stuck around to see the {2-Diamonds} and a bet of 9,000 by Vitkind won the pot uncontested.

Eliahu Takes From Torrents Avalos

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

On the tail end of a hand between Moshe Eliahu and Manuel Torrents Avalos, the latter bet the {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{5-Spades} river out of the big blind for 3,600. Eliahu gave it some thought and made the call to see his opponent turn over {10-Spades}{9-Clubs} for a busted gutshot and ten-nine high. Eliahu had that beat with {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for ace-high and won the pot.

Brechalov and Udalov Start Well

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

In a battle of Yuriy's, Yuriy Pantyukhov got the best of Yuriy Brechalov when he called a bet of 1,000 on the {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{a-Spades} turn and Brechalov check-folded the {3-Diamonds} river to a bet of 3,000. Despite losing that small pot, it is Brechalov that has started well.

Stepan Udalov joined the early big stacks after taking a decent pot off Hristo Dechev. Pavel Kovalenko had raised and Dechev called from the small blind, both then called a three-bet to 3,000 by Udalov. Only Dechev check-called bets of Udalov on the {j-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop and the {6-Clubs} turn, the latter for 12,000, before both checked the {10-Spades} on the river.

Dechev tabled pocket eights and Udalov had that beat with pocket aces.
