All five starting days of the 2019 888poker LIVE Sochi Main Event are now completed and the survivors of each flight combine to a single field for the first time at the stunning Casino Sochi. The first-ever 888poker LIVE event on Russian soil is held in cooperation with Poker Club Management right next to the luxurious Marriott Hotel in the mountain region of Krasnaya Polyana

Throughout all five starting days so far, the flagship event has seen a total of 454 entries for a buy-in of 62,160 RUB (~ $888) and further players will join the action in the first four levels of day two to take another shot at the guaranteed prize pool of 35,000,000 RUB (~ $500,000). So far, at least 229 hopefuls will return to their seats

Leading the field into Day 2 is 1a chip leader Igor Reznik with 404,300 followed by 1c chip leader Marat Shafigullin with 373,900, and there is already a big gap to Day 1b chip leader and former WPT Prague champion Dmitry Gromov (279,100) and Evgeniy Shibaldin (277,700).

The 888poker ambassadors Vivian Saliba (158,700) and Sofia Lovgren (122,200) will be in the middle of the pack when the action resumes at 1.30 p.m. local time with blinds of 900-1,800 and a big blind ante of 1,800. They are joined by five-time WSOP bracelet winner Michael Mizrachi (155,400), Lovgren and Daria Feshchenko were also among those that bagged up chips in the High Roller last night that recommences after Day 2 of the Main Event has wrapped up.

Other notables among the bigger stacks are Luca Esposito (252,000), Gor Kazaryan (242,300), Anatoly Korochenskiy (240,000), Day 2 High Roller chip leader Aleksandr Chernikov (212,100), Howard Leung (203,000), Nikolay Fal (201,300), Maksym Lavrov (168,400), Vyacheslav Mizun (165,100), and Natalia Panchenko (153,000).
