Up and Down: An Orbit with Josh Manley

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Josh Manley
Josh Manley

We stuck around 888poker Stream Team member Josh Manley's table to see what he got up to in an orbit:

Hand #1: After a raise to 1,500 from under the gun, Manley folded from middle position.

Hand #2: Manley raised to 1,500 from early position and got three callers. The four players checked the {q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop and Manley folded to a bet of 1,500 on the {8-Hearts} turn.

Hand #3: Manley folded from under the gun.

Hand #4: After a raise to 1,500 and two callers, Manley also called from the big blind. The flop {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{10-Spades} checked to the original raiser who continued for 3,000. Manley was the only caller.

The pair checked the {2-Clubs} turn and the river was the {3-Diamonds}. Manley bet 11,000.

"You have king-six suited or something?" asked his opponent. "I hate losing to pros man..." He eventually called, with Manley tabling {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for trip kings.

"Ah, king-five suited! I was close."

Hand #5: After a raise to 1,500 and a call, Manley folded his small blind.

Hand #6: After an open to 1,500, another player three-bet to 4,500 from the hijack. Manley made it 11,000 from the big blind and the first player folded. The hijack then five-bet all in for 22,900 and Manley called.

Hijack: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Josh Manley: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

The flop {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} instantly gave his opponent a flush and the {q-Clubs}{5-Hearts} confirmed his double-up.

Ashkari Busts a Player

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

A player was all in on a {j-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} flop holding {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} but had run into Michael Ashkari who had flopped a flush with {9-Spades}{2-Spades}

His opponent was all in for around 30,000 and had gotten to his feet before the {3-Diamonds} turn gave him some hope of making a full house to stay alive. Unfortunately for him, the river was the {q-Clubs} and he was eliminated.
