Abdulzahra Puts Yates to the Test
Level 14
: Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Ali Abdulzahra opened to 10,000 in middle position and Aaron Yates defended his big blind.
Both players checked the Q♥6♥9♠ flop, with Yates then leading out for 11,000 on the 8♦ turn. Abdulzahra called and the dealer completed the board with the 10♠ river.
Yates sized down to 5,000 but was quickly facing a decision for the rest of his stack once Abdulzahra moved all in. Yates took some time before letting his hand go, with Abdulzahra raking in the chips.
