McDermott had led out for 5,000 from the big blind on a board of 7♥8♦7♣J♦K♠ before Walden raised to 30,000 in early position. McDermott spent several minutes in the tank until eventually calling.
Walden showed 8♥8♠ for a flopped full house and McDermott mucked.

The river was the 8♦ and Montgomery moved all in for 30,000. Dwan snap-called, while Rigg got out of the way. Montgomery turned over K♣10♠ for a missed straight draw and Dwan showed 9♣4♣ for a flush to win the big pot and send Montgomery to the rail.

The turn was the A♥ and Calderwood moved all in for 23,000. Cunliffe called with A♦J♣, but Calderwood had A♠Q♠ and was ahead with his queen-kicker. The river was the 10♦ and Calderwood doubled up.
