Davenport Busts Another
Level 14
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Matthew Davenport has claimed another knockout victim as he continues his last-night surge up the leaderboard, and this time it was Steven Quinn.
Davenport had three-bet to 12,000 on the button and Quinn called in the hijack. The flop came Q♦6♦4♠ and Quinn moved all in for 15,000. Davenport snap-called.
Steven Quinn: K♦10♠
Matthew Davenport: A♠Q♠
Davenport was far ahead with top pair as the 10♣ turn gave Quinn additional outs with a pair, but he missed the J♦ river and Davenport scooped up another pot.
