Iqbal Sent on a Long Walk to the Desk

Level 4 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Terence Jordon
Terence Jordon

Terence Jordon three-bet to 3,500 on the button and Majid Iqbal, playing the hand standing up from his seat, called in the cutoff.

The flop came K3J and Jordon continued for 3,000. Iqbal then raised to 17,000 and Jordon called.

Iqbal only had around 1,000 left and put it in before the turn was revealed. "Got a flush draw, do you?" Jordon said as he called.

"Yes I do," Iqbal replied, revealing A3. Jordon had QJ for a pair of jacks and held on through the 9 turn and 10 river to score the knockout.

"The only bad thing about that is I have to go downstairs then come back up here," Iqbal said as he went off to reenter.

"Do you want me to do it for you?" John Clements called over from another table.

Barrie Greenan was already all in with a short stack as Andrew Hawksby and David Mulholland built a side pot going to a 4AK flop.

Hawksby then bet 2,000 in the cutoff and Mulholland called in the big blind. Hawksby bet another 3,000 on the 10 turn and Mulholland again called.

Hawksby continued betting for 5,000 on the 9 river, but this time Mulholland got out of the way. Hawksby then showed A9 for two pair and Greenan mucked Q5 before heading for the exit.

Tom Gill
Tom Gill

William Henderson bet 1,600 from the big blind on a board of 5823 and Tom Gill called under the gun, as did David Docherty on the button.

The river was the 10 and Henderson bet 4,000. Gill then moved all in for 21,000, Docherty folded, while Henderson called to put Gill at risk.

Gill showed A4 for the nut flush and Henderson flashed J7 for a smaller flush. "I should've folded," Henderson lamented as the pot was pushed to Gill.

Bogdan Pop raised to 1,000 under the gun and Marius Varanavicius called in early position. Ricardo Mateus then moved all in for 3,500 in the hijack and Stewart Davie called on the button, as did Pop and Varanavicius.

All three players checked down the Q6A28 board. Varanavicius showed first and turned over 77.

"Okay, so far I'm good," Mateus said.

"I have a queen," Pop added.

"Which queen?" Mateus asked, and Pop showed Q10. Mateus, though, had KQ and won the pot with his king-kicker to quadruple up.

Maogen Fu
Maogen Fu

Maogen Fu raised to 2,000 on the button, Jonathan Bannerman three-bet to 8,500 in the small blind, and Fu called.

Bannerman continued for 5,000 on the Q46 flop and Fu called. The turn was the 3 and Bannerman bet another 8,000.

Fu again called to see the J river, where Bannerman moved all in for 20,100. Fu quickly called.

"I've got tens," Bannerman said, already knowing he was beat and getting up from his seat. Fu, the High Roller champion from earlier this series, confirmed his suspicions by turning over Q9 for top pair, while the dealer exposed Bannerman's 1010 as he made his exit from the table.
