Moore Picks Up Kings to Bust Lazar

Level 17 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Stefan Lazar moved all in for 110,000 in the small blind and Jack Moore called on the button.

Stefan Lazar: AK All in
Jack Moore: KK

Lazar was looking for an ace to stay alive, but instead Moore found the last king in the deck on the 10K9 flop to make top set. Lazar was already drawing dead after the 8 turn, while the 5 river was a mere formality as Lazar was eliminated.

Salvador Takes Another Hit as Hamilton Fades the River

Level 17 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 973, Kye Hamilton led out for 18,000 from the small blind and Francisco Salvador called in the cutoff.

Hamilton checked the Q turn and Salvador moved all in. Hamilton quickly called for 131,500 and turned over KQ for top pair, while Salvador had A3 for a pair and flush draw.

The 6 river missed Salvador and Hamilton earned the massive double up.

"GK" Cruising on Day 2

Level 17 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

"GK" raised to 11,000 in the hijack and Elaine Johnstone called in the big blind.

Johnstone led out for 16,000 on the 439 flop and "GK" called. Johnstone bet another 16,000 on the 6 turn, but this time "GK" raised to 35,000.

Johnstone called to the K river and checked over to "GK", who moved all in. Johnstone quickly folded for her last 70,000 and "GK" took the pot, moving up past 400,000.

Whyte Comes From Behind Against the Chip Leader

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Francisco Salvador had a raise of 12,000 in front of him in the cutoff before Jamie Whyte moved all in for 105,000 on the button. The table folded back around to Salvador who snap-called.

Jamie Whyte: 55 All in
Francisco Salvador: QQ

Whyte had run into Salvador's queens and found no help on the J44 flop, but he spiked the 5 on the turn to make a full house. The river was the 10 and Whyte found a fortunate double up against the start-of-day chip leader.

"You'll say you played that brilliantly, wouldn't you," tablemate John Clements joked with Whyte after the hand.
