Mostafavita Turns the Nuts to Bust Dean
Level 4
: Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Jack Dean and Reza Mostafavita built a pot of around 10,000 as they went heads-up to the turn with the board showing 10♠4♠7♦9♦. Dean then bet 11,000 from the button. Mostafavita moved all in from the big blind, and Dean called.
Dean showed Q♠Q♦, but Mostafavita had turned a straight holding J♣8♠. The river was the 3♠ and Mostafavita secured the pot.
The stacks were counted down and Mostafavita had Dean's remaining 31,000 barely covered, sending "JaackMaate" to the rail.
Thomas Clack and Inaki Angulo were also recently eliminated.
