McCullagh Gets Bailed Out on the River
Level 5
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Harry Sandford and Ciaran McCullagh built a pot of around 10,000 as they saw a flop of K♦J♣9♦. McCullagh then bet 5,500 from the hijack and Sandford called in the big blind.
Both players checked the Q♠ turn. The river was the 10♦ and Sandford bet 17,600, leaving himself just one 500 chip behind. McCullagh then moved all in, and Sandford tossed in his last chip.
McCullagh showed A♠2♠ for a rivered straight. F**king ten," Sandford said as he also showed A♣Q♣ for the same straight to split the pot.
