Clarke Holds On to His Aces
Level 2
: Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Robert Clarke bet 600 from under the gun on a flop of 8♠5♦3♦ and Sebastian Vontoperczer raised to 2,000 in the big blind. Clarke called and the 9♥ fell on the turn.
Vontoperczer then bet 4,500 and Clarke again called. Vontoperczer slowed down and checked the 9♣ river, and Clarke checked back.
Clarke showed A♠A♥ and Vontoperczer mucked.
888poker Live Coventry champion Chris Da-Silva recently took his seat in the field.
