Rodriguez Tries to Set a Trap For Sintos
Level 5
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Jon Rodriguez and Epameinondas Sintos went heads-up to the turn on a board of J♥9♦Q♦4♦ when Rodriguez bet 1,500 from middle position. Sintos then raised to 5,600 on the button.
Rodriguez called and the 10♦ fell on the river. He checked over to Sintos, and this time Sintos checked back. Rodriguez showed A♦8♦ for a flush, and Sintos mucked.
"No diamond and you go all in," Rodriguez said.
"I doubt it," Sintos replied, saying he rivered two pair.
