Around 180,000 was already in the middle as Gaspare Triolo and Jorge Alvarez went heads-up to a K♥Q♣5♦ flop. Triolo then bet 72,000 from the hijack and Alvarez called in middle position.
The turn was the 5♥ and Triolo moved all in for 230,000. Alvarez counted what was in the pot before calling.
Triolo showed A♥2♥ for a flush draw, while Alvarez had Q♥10♥ for two pair and his own flush draw. The 7♦ fell on the river and Alvarez held on to win the massive pot and send Triolo to the rail.
Abraham Serrano was also recently eliminated.
In a blind versus blind battle, Jonas ten Cate got in his last 107,000 and was up against Babak Shahrtash.

Adrian Rivero raised to 25,000 on the button and Iaron Lightbourne reraised to 100,000 in the small blind. Rivero called and went to turn over his cards before the dealer reminded him Lightbourne still had a few chips behind.
The flop came A♥K♥9♥ and Lightbourne put in his last 31,000. Rivero called to put him at risk.

Lightbourne was ahead with his sevens as the 7♦ turn improved him to a set. Rivero also hit a set on the 2♠ river, but it wasn't enough to avoid handing over the double up.
"Why waste that," Lightbourne joked with Rivero after the hand.

Montanari had 9♠7♠ for straight and flush draws, while Murciano showed K♣8♠ for two pair. The J♦ river missed Montanari and he was sent to the rail as the bubble boy.
The remaining 48 players are now in the money.
A player in the hijack moved all in for 33,000 and Adrian Teodoreanu called on the button. Taago Tamm then reshoved in the big blind and Teodoreanu used a time bank before calling for 200,000.

The A♣ turn improved him to a full house, while the river was the 3♣ and Teodoreanu scooped the pot, sending the hijack to the rail and earning a double up off Tamm.
