The flop came J♥2♦6♥ and Barone bet 10,500. Palomares called, and the 10♥ fell on the turn. Barone then moved all in, and Palomares snap-called for 28,000.

Palomares showed Q♥Q♣, but he was crushed by Barone's K♦K♠ and at risk of elimination. The river, though, brought the 8♥ to give Palomares a flush and the fortunate double up.

"Cooler either way," Barone said as he handed over the massive pot.
