On the ninth day of the XL Blizzard Series on 888poker, players enjoyed an action-packed schedule.
In total, three tournaments started with the XL Blizzard #26 - $30,000 DeepStack as the highlight of the day. Let's take a look at the results.

The XL Blizzard #26 - $30,000 DeepStack kicked off at 20:00 GMT. After late registration closed, there were 639 registered players. That resulted in a prize pool of $31,950 with $6,071 reserved for the winner. More than nine hours were played before a champion was crowned.
Nine players made the final table, securing themselves of $530. "Fedorable" (ninth, $530), "Barzy514" (eighth, $719), "Ilikepugs" (seventh, $1,038), "BigDaddy2002" (sixth, $1,358), "D3n1sk4PP" (fifth, $1,757) were eliminated in quick succession. After that, "devildog1980" (fourth, $2,492) and "TooMuchRake" (third, $3,275) missed out on the final heads-up.
Croatia's "Aco_Zeko" battled against "BhadizUlue" and the two made a deal. In the end, the Croatian won against his or her opponent to be crowned the winner. The winner received the first prize of $5,950, while the runner-up had to settle for $4,594.

As is the case every day during 888poker's XL Blizzard Series, there was also a Mini edition of the DeepStack on the schedule. To compete in this tournament, players had to pay $16.50. In total, 1,215 players did just that and 384 rebuys were made for a total of 1,599 entries.
That created a total prize pool of $23,985, getting divided over the last 153 players.
The most money was up for grabs on the final table, where every finalist got at least $264. All the attention went to the first prize of $4,141, which went to Canadian winner "sickthsense". The Canadian player defeated Slovakian "Iluzija" in the deciding heads up and saw the runner up settling for second place ($2,998).
