"KickInUrDoor" Takes from Leader

Level 3 : 60/120, 15 ante

"Nat8888Star" was cut back down to size when Canadian "KickInUrDoor" got a full double through them after rivering the straight. It was 4 ways to the flop after "Nat8888Star" limped, then called after "KickInUrDoor" raised the button, the small blind called, and the big blind popped it up to 1,200.

The big blind fired out 1,628 on the {q-Clubs}{2-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop, and got calls from both "Nat8888Star" and "KickInUrDoor". The {j-Clubs} turn brought a check from the big blind, but both they and "KickInUrDoor" called when the chip leader bet 1,080. After a check on the {9-Diamonds} river, "Nat8888Star" shoved with a covering stack, but "KickInUrDoor" snapped it off while the big blind folded.

"Nat8888Star" Gives Some Back

Level 3 : 60/120, 15 ante

After an under-the-gun limp, "Nat8888Star" limped from the cutoff before "gprovinz6" reraised the button to 600. The blinds folded, but both other players called.

The flop came {q-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts} and "Nat8888Star" led out for 720 after a check from the UTG player. "gprovinz6" was the only caller to the {j-Hearts} turn. "Nat8888Star" fired again for 1,560 and got the call to see {2-Diamonds} on the river. "Nat8888Star" slowed down, check-folding to a bet of 3,457, sending the pot to the German player.

"Nat8888Star" Stacking Chips Early

"Nat8888Star" had already taken an early stack to chip up to more than a double stack when they got into another big one against Canadian "jcjcarlisle". "jcjcarlisle" opened under the gun to 240, and "888godmode" called from their left before "Nat8888Star" came over the top for a three-bet to 1,040 the next seat over.

Only "jcjcarlisle" called to see {10-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{a-Hearts} on the flop. They check-called a bet of 1.440 to the {6-Hearts} turn where it went check-check. The {j-Clubs} river brought a bet of 2,705 from "jcjcarlisle", only to be faced with a covering shove from "Nat8888Star". After a few seconds in the tank, the Canadian made the call for their life, only to show {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} against {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} for "Nat8888Star".

The final table will be streamed on 888pokerTV with hole cards shown on a 30-minute delay

Players will start the Opening Event with 20,000 in chips, which means they will start the day off with 250 big blinds. Registration is open for 215 minutes after cards go in the air, and players can rebuy as many as 3 times if they lose all their chips during that period.

With the start of the day a couple of hours away, there are already more than 50 players in the mix, and that number is sure to grow as the late registration period ticks down. Stay tuned here at PokerNews for all the exciting action today as the WPTDeepStacks London gets underway with Day 1 of WPTDeepStacks #1: $200,000 Opening Event.
