Leonard Jams the Flop

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

Tammy Leonard limped from the hijack and Kerry Hartman called out of the cutoff. Joe Mole then raised to 1,300 on the button, both blinds folded, and it was three-way action to the flop, which came down {2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

Leonard was first to act and wasted little time in moving all in for her last 9,700. Hartman quickly folded and Mole followed suit by releasing his hand.

Adibi Loses a Small One

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

The player in the hijack opened for 800 and Matt Adibi defended his big blind to see a {5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} flop.

Adibi check-called a bet of 1,600 and then check-called one of 1,700 on the {K-Spades} turn.

When the {J-Spades} completed the board on the river, Adibi checked for the third time and his opponent slowed down by checking behind.

"Five," Adibi said without showing his hand. The hijack then rolled over the {a-Hearts}{4-Spades} for top pair and Adibi mucked.

Despite losing that hand Adibi is among the current 1B big stacks.

Wood Busts Gauthier

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
James Wood
James Wood

Four players each committed 2,000 preflop and took a flop of {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

Eugene Gauthier was first to act and didn't hesitate to move all in for 10,700 from the big blind.

Both the players in the under-the-gun position and hijack folded and James Wood, the preflop raiser, called from the button.

Gauthier: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Wood: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Both players held overpairs to the board but Wood's ladies were best. Neither the {7-Clubs} turn nor {A-Diamonds} river changed anything and Wood scored the knockout.
