Winchell Busts at End of Night

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Mark Winchell moved all in under the gun for his last 26,000 and James Wood, who was next to act, made the call. Alex Ivan also called from the button, both blinds folded, and the flop fell {5-Spades}{6-Spades}{10-Diamonds}.

Wood checked and then folded {a-}{k-} face up when Ivan bet 26,000.

Ivan: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Winchell: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

Winchell needed some help but he was left wanting as the {7-Hearts} bricked the turn followed by the {6-Clubs} on the river.

Winchell Gets Lucky to Eliminate Geyer

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante
Mark Winchell

Lynn Geyer raised to 5,500 out of her 12,000 stack and was met by an all-in three-bet from Mark Winchell, who had 16,100 on the button. Both blinds folded and Geyer call off.

Geyer: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Winchell: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Geyer was way out in front but not after the flop came down {6-Spades}{a-Hearts}{7-Spades} to pair Winchell. Neither the {3-Clubs} turn nor {8-Diamonds} river helped Geyer and she bowed out in the penultimate level of the night.
