Day 1B of the 2019 Ante Up Poker Tour Tampa Bay Downs $250 Main Event attracted 86 runners, which along with 1A’s brought the current field up to 175 entries with three flights still to go. After 14 levels of play, each 30-minutes in duration, just 14 remained with Hyndi Khomutetsky and her stack of 284,000 leading the way.
That is behind Day 1A chp leader Peter Chang, who bagged up 296,500. Others to bag big in the 1B flight were Neil Lawson (244,000), James Wood (202,500), Alex Ivan (177,500), and Michael Minyard (175,500), who round out the top five.
Others to bag were Patrick Stewart (154,500), Jen Haselton (129,000), Mike Lu (115,000), Bran Torok (83,000), and Bob Greene (68,000).
Among those to play and fall on 1B were Marv Karlins, Joe Mole, Tammy Leonard, Brian Kelly, Matt Adibi, Walter Schoderbock, Mark Winchell, Jason Block, Garth Fudens, and Charles Sauter.
The 1C flight kicked off at 6 p.m., while the final two flights will take place at the same times on Saturday. The surviving players from each flight will then return at 1 p.m. on Sunday to play down to a winner.

Mark Winchell moved all in under the gun for his last 26,000 and James Wood, who was next to act, made the call. Alex Ivan also called from the button, both blinds folded, and the flop fell .
Wood checked and then folded face up when Ivan bet 26,000.

Lynn Geyer raised to 5,500 out of her 12,000 stack and was met by an all-in three-bet from Mark Winchell, who had 16,100 on the button. Both blinds folded and Geyer call off.

Geyer was way out in front but not after the flop came down to pair Winchell. Neither the turn nor river helped Geyer and she bowed out in the penultimate level of the night.

Today's Ante Up Poker Tour Main Event in the Silks Poker Room at Tampa Bay Downs is the culmination of a six-event series that's been taking place all week long.
On Wednesday, Event #5: $230 No-Limit Hold'em Knockout ($50 bounties, $10,000 guaranteed) drew 72 entries, which meant a $13,824 total prize pool was generated. The top eight players got paid with the final four striking a deal.
As a result, Vinny Griffo was crowned champion and took home $2,299 for his performance.
