The player in the hijack opened for 800 and Matt Adibi defended his big blind to see a flop.
Adibi check-called a bet of 1,600 and then check-called one of 1,700 on the turn.
When the completed the board on the river, Adibi checked for the third time and his opponent slowed down by checking behind.
"Five," Adibi said without showing his hand. The hijack then rolled over the for top pair and Adibi mucked.
Despite losing that hand Adibi is among the current 1B big stacks.

Tammy Leonard limped from the hijack and Kerry Hartman called out of the cutoff. Joe Mole then raised to 1,300 on the button, both blinds folded, and it was three-way action to the flop, which came down .
Leonard was first to act and wasted little time in moving all in for her last 9,700. Hartman quickly folded and Mole followed suit by releasing his hand.

One of the players in action here on Day 1B is Brian Kelly, originally from Schenectady, New York but now living in nearby Clearwater, Florida.
Earlier this week, Kelly won his way into the Main Event in one of Tampa Bay Downs' many satellites.
"I took the $100 that I won from Wednesday's tournament, and registered for the $240 $60K guaranteed AUPT main event satellite at the Silk's poker room in Tampa," Kelly posted to social media. "80 people enrolled and 30 walked away with a voucher. I was one of them. There's an article in Ante Up magazine about this on page 26. The winner will get a picture on the cover, a trophy, and an entry into the AUPT championship in July. This was an easy win for me. There was never any real doubt. It was like a walk in the park."
Only time will tell if Kelly will be able to parlay his satellite into a cash here in the 2019 Ante Up Poker Tour Tampa Bay DownsMain Event.
