Today's Ante Up Poker Tour Main Event in the Silks Poker Room at Tampa Bay Downs is the culmination of a six-event series that's been taking place all week long.
Things kicked off on Monday with EVENT #1: $160 No-Limit Hold'em ($10,000 GTD), a tournament that drew 176 entrants and more than doubled the guarantee by creating a $21,472 prize pool.
Some players to cash Event #1 but fail to make the final table were Susan Berman (11th - $418), K.C. Knoch (13th - $344), Sean Turow (16th - $288), and Bob Kelly (18th - $288).
The tournament ultimately came to an end when the final six players agreed to a chop. As a result of it, Steve Rauchut and Casey Wiggins finished first and second for $3,750 apiece.

In one of the first hands of the day, an early-position player limped and the Lynn Geyer, who was on the button, did the same. Both blinds checked their options to make it four-way action to the flop.
All four players checked and then did the same on the turn. When the completed the board on the river, the small blind checked and the player in the big bet 800.
The early-position limper folded, Geyer called, and the small blind folded.

The tournament director has announced that the button will start in seat six and the cards are in the air on Day 1b of the $250 Ante Up Poker Tour Main Event. There are currently 35 entries to kick things off with late registration open until the start of level nine.

The first Ante Up Poker Tour stop of 2019 kicked off last night inside the 23-table Silks Poker Room inside Tamp Bay Downs. While the festival has been taking place since the beginning of the week with multiple side events each day, the $250 Main Event was the event everyone was looking forward to.
The tournament consists of five starting flights with Day 1B kicking off today at 1 p.m. local time.
In last night's 1A flight, 89 entrants took to the felt but 14 levels of play just 18 remained with Peter Chang and his stack of 296,500 leading the pack. Click here for a full recap of the 1A action.
Not only will the eventual winner reap in the rewards of a $60,000 guaranteed prize pool, but they will also be featured on the cover of Ante Up Magazine in March and earn a spot in the Ante Up World Championship Main Event in July.
Today, players will begin with 25,000 starting chips with the blinds at 100/100. A big blind ante will be introduced in the second level and will continue throughout. The levels will be 30-minutes in length for all Day 1s and increase to 40 minutes on the final day. There will be a 10-minute break after every four levels with play ending after a total of 14 levels.
Late registration will remain open until the start of level nine. Players will be given the option of unlimited re-entries until that point or may re-enter for subsequent Day 1s. Should a player bag chips on multiple starting flights, only their best stack will be brought forward to the final day.
