Big Slick Does the Trick for Geyer

The under-the-gun player limped and a middle-position player raised to 4,100. The small blind then moved all in for 8,700 and Lynn Geyer called out of the big.

The UTG limper folded, the raiser called, and the flop came down .

Geyer check-called a bet of 7,500 to create a side pot and then action went check-check on the turn as well as the river.

The original raiser showed the but it was no good as Geyer had turned a bigger pair with her . She also won the main pot and notched the elimination as the small blind's was out kicked.

Ivan Pips Davis to Send Him Out the Door

We missed the preflop action but we do know Matt Davis got his last 15,000 or so all in preflop and was at risk against Alex Ivan, who had him crushed.

Ivan:

Davis was looking to get lucky but instead the flop gave Ivan a set. Davis picked up a gutshot straight draw but his outs were killed when Ivan filled up on the turn.

The meaningless was run out on the river and Davis headed for the rail.

Adibi Puts Beat on Villanueva

Matt Adibi limped from the hijack and the player on the button did the same. Kristopher Villanueva then raised to 10,000 from the small blind and Adibi called.

The button got out of the way and the flop came down . Villanueva checked and then snap-called when Adibi moved all in for 27,800.

Adibi had flopped top pair but was behind Villanueva's overpair. He wasn't behind for long though as the dealer burned and turned the to give him two pair. The river made it a full house and an excited Adibi doubled through Villanueva.
