Andrade Eliminates Turow

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

We just arrived at the table and the cards from two players were already face up on the felt. Sean Turow was the player at risk and would need some help against Saul Andrade.

Saul Andrade: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Sean Turow: {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

The flop came {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} which left Andrade in the lead with his pair of jacks. The {j-Clubs} on the turn improved him to a full house and Turow was drawing dead to the {5-Spades} on the river.

Triple Up for Brown

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

A massive pot was lying in the middle of the table and Donald Brown was left with nothing else in front of him. The board read {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} but there was still action on a side pot with Gary Bradshaw and the button.

The river was the {2-Diamonds} and Bradshaw bet 10,000 which forced the button to fold. Bradshaw turned over {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for two pair but Brown flopped the nut flush with {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Brown scored a triple up to close in on 100,000 chips.

Trio of Ladies Chop Up Event #3: $130 Monster Stack

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Today's Ante Up Poker Tour Main Event in the Silks Poker Room at Tampa Bay Downs is the culmination of a six-event series that's been taking place all week long.

On Tuesday, Event #3: $130 No-Limit Hold'em Monster Stack drew 47 entries, which meant there was a small overlay to the $4,559 generated prize pool. Only the top six players were supposed to get paid, but with seven left they all agreed to pay the bubble $130, which went to Joao Figueiredo.

In the end, the final three ladies worked an equal chop for $1,220 apiece.

Mccormick Forces Two Folds

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

With the board reading {6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades} and around 15,000 in the pot, Justin Mccormick had a bet of 3,000 in front of him in the cutoff. Jin Chen called on the button along with the hijack.

The {3-Diamonds} completed the board and the hijack checked to Mccormick who shoved all in for 13,700. Chen asked for a count and went into the tank for a couple of minutes. He eventually laid his hand down and the hijack let his cards go as well.

Andrade Vaults to the Lead

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Four players limped into the pot and Saul Andrade raised to 3,600 from the big blind. Only one of the limpers folded which was the small blind. The dealer fanned the flop of {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{10-Clubs} and the action checked around to the {3-Diamonds} on the turn.

Andrade slid in a bet of 15,000 and was called by the player directly to his left. The other two opponents folded and the {a-Hearts} paired the board on the river. Andrade tossed in another bet of 12,000 and his opponent looked him up. Andrade tabled {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for a straight and his opponent sent his cards to the muck.
