After two limps, the cutoff jammed all in for a little over 20,000 and Jin Chen also pushed all in for just under 60,000 in the big blind. Mehdi Balhassan was one of the limpers and asked for a count but opted to lay his hand down.

Petty Crowned Event #4: $130 NLH Champ After Six-Way Deal

Today's Ante Up Poker Tour Main Event in the Silks Poker Room at Tampa Bay Downs is the culmination of a six-event series that's been taking place all week long.

On Wednesday, Event #4: $130 No-Limit Hold'em ($5,000 guaranteed) drew 41 entries, which meant there was an overlay to the $3,977 generated prize pool. Only the top six players got paid and they did so by working a deal.

As a result, Michael Petty was crowned champion and took home a smooth $1,000. The other five players each received $800.

Melms Wakes Up in the Big Blind

The action folded around to the small blind who ripped all in for just over 25,000. Bill Melms looked down at his cards in the big blind and made a quick call, putting his opponent at risk.

Melms became an even bigger favorite when Donald Brown chirped up and said, "I folded king-deuce!"

The board ran out and Melms wrapped up the pot on the turn with a set of sevens.

One Move for Karlins

Aaron Thivyanathan raised from under the gun and was called by the button and Marv Karlins in the big blind. The flop came and Karlins checked to Thivyanathan who continued for 6,500. The button called and Karlins slid in his stack of T5,000 chips for a raise to 60,000.

Thivyanathan thought for a minute, contemplating whether he wanted to put in the rest of his chips or not, but soon elected to fold. The button did the same and Karlins slid his cards face down as he dragged in the pot.

In the next hand, the cutoff limped in and Phi Nguyen raised to 7,000 on the button. Karlins announced all in from the small blind which quickly got rid of all his opponents. This time, Karlins decided to show the pocket kings he was holding.

Tom Nguyen raised to 6,500 from under the gun and was flat-called by a player in middle position. The button pushed in a raise to around 40,000 which forced the blinds out but Nguyen shoved all in for 50,800. The player in middle position and the button snap-called.

The action folded to Jin Chen in the hijack who made it 15,000 to go. The button shoved all in for 44,200 and Mehdi Belhassan also pushed all in from the small blind for a little less. The action was back on Chen who asked for a count before making the call.

Chen was in great shape, only having to dodge one of the two remaining aces in the deck. The board ran out to give Chen the best hand and eliminate both of his opponents.
