Sisemore Gets the Best of a Three-Way All In

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

The details leading up to the river are unknown, but Daniel Sisemore, Jared Shipley and Richard head all got their entire stacks in by the final betting round.

Richard Head: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Jared Shipley: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}
Daniel Sismore: {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Board: {7-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

Sisemore's {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs} was the best hand, and he ended up with the biggest of the three stacks in the aftermath.

Hanley Sends Prager to the Exit

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante
Dick Hanley

Josh Prager won the Ante Up World Championship Main Event just three weeks ago at the AUPT's Thunder Valley stop. His first entry into the Ante Up Atlantis Main Event, however, is already over.

Prager came up on the wrong end of consecutive hands, the first coming against Ryan Awwad. Awwad and Prager got to the river of a {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} board, both players checked, and Awwad took down a modest-sized pot with {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}.

On the following hand, the pot was much bigger, with Prager going all in preflop from the small blind for 18,000. Dick Hanley called from the big blind.

Josh Prager: {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Dick Hanley: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

The call from Hanley was bad news for Prager, with Hanley well ahead preflop. The runout came {9-Spades}{5-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts}{q-Hearts}, and Prager, a late registrant, is out quickly in Day 1a.

Raoofi Drags Five-Way Pot

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Joe Elpayaa opened to 1,700 under the gun, and got four calers.

The action checked around to Elpayaa on the {k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop, and Elpayaa continuation bet for 2,200. Eric Baldwin called on the button, as well as Arash Raoofi on the small blind.

The three remaining players all checked the {2-Spades} turn, as well as the {k-Hearts} river. Raoofi showed {k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} to take down the pot.

Elpayaa Busts Nelson

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

With {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} on the board, Joe Elpayaa put 50,000 in the pot from the big blind. Punkie Nelson, in the small blind, would be at risk for her tournament life with the call. Nelson indeed did make the call.

Joe Elpayaa: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Punkie Nelson: {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

Elpayaa was ahead with two pair, but Nelson still had life with a flush draw and bottom pair combo. The river {10-Diamonds} sealed the win for Elpayaa, however, who moved up to over 100,000 chips.
