James Broom Eliminated in 7th ($18,500)

James Broom has been very active since his early double up, but has now found the rail in 7th place, courtesy of the turned gut-shot straight of Dejan Divkovic.

The hand began with broom opening the hijack to 16,000. Divkovic called out of the big blind and the dealer flipped over a flop. Divkovic check-called a bet of 17,000 from Broom and a landed on the turn. Divkovic once again checked and this time raised it up to 100,000. Broom made the call and a completed the board on the river.

Divkovic took his time here, leaning back in his chair, taking a drink, and then betting 175,000 - enough to put Broom all in.

"I flopped two pair," Broom said. "You're smiling like you want me to call so badly."

Broom squirmed in his chair, looked around the room and sort of sighed as he tossed out the call and turned over his . Divkovic tabled , with the turned straight enough to win the pot and send Broom home in 7th place.
