Couple of Preflops on Table 5
Table 5 has been fairly active during the early stages of Day 1a of the ANZPT Queenstown Main Event.
We recently watched Ben Richardson open to 500 and then Martin Boersma three-bet to 1,400. The action folded back around to Richardson and he four-bet to 3,200. Boersma wanted no part of the hand and let the chips go to Richardson.
The very next hand started with Nathan Harvey opening to 550 from early position. Tom Grigg then three-bet to 1,275 from the button and Ali Ghezelbash moved all in for 8,025 from the big blind. Harvey got out of the way and it was back on Grigg. Eventually Grigg opted to fold, at which point Ghezelbash showed .
"Boom!" Grigg said at the sight of the kings.
"Just lay down six-four did you?" quipped Stevan Chew from across the table.
"Maybe ace-king," replied Grigg with a smile.
