Main Event
Day 1a Started
After a week of Poker action in the Crown Poker room it’s time for the Main Event here in Melbourne as season seven of the Australian New Zealand Poker Tour draws to an end.
It’s also the final event on the ANZPT - ever! That’s right, it’ll be the last chance for players to capture a coveted title and etch their names into Australian Poker history.
Last years Main Event in Melbourne saw 516 players generate the first ever 1 million dollar prize pool. Australia’s Edison Nguyen emerged victorious, so it wont come as much of a shock if Melbourne was able to repeat the same feat this weekend.
A plethora of national and international players will venture into Crown Casino, with action kicking off at 12:30pm today and concluding sometime on Tuesday.
Stay tuned as PokerNews.com brings you all the live reporting updates starting in just over an hours time.
